 SPECIAL SESSION

1. Call To Order and Roll Call

Mayor Eric Hauptman called the Special Session of the Dunes City Council to order at 1:01 PM. Amy Graham, Dunes City Recorder, took roll call.

Present: Mayor Eric Hauptman, Councilor Susie Navetta, Councilor Robert Quandt, Councilor Richard Koehler, and Councilor Rebecca Ruede

Absent: Councilor Peter Howison and Councilor Jamie Mills were both excused

Others Present: City Recorder Amy Graham, Planning Secretary Lisa Ekelund, City Attorney David Allen from the office of Macpherson, Gintner, & Diaz (via. telephone), The Honorable Judge Rasmussen (via. telephone), and Bob Sneddon from KCST Radio Station.

2. Pledge of Allegiance

The Mayor, city councilors, office staff, and citizens present, joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Mayor called to adjourn to executive session at 1:01 PM.

3. Executive Session

The Council held an Executive Session meeting in conformance with Oregon Revised Statutes 192.660 (2) (h).

Councilor Quandt made the motion to adjourn from executive session to enter into the special session and Councilor Ruede seconded the motion. The motion passed by unanimous vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.

The Mayor called to adjourn to special session at 2:05 PM.

4. Special Session

The Mayor opened the special session at 2:07 PM.

· Merina Settlement

Councilor Ruede made the motion that the city tends to their settlement placed by the insurance company for Merina (an auditing company), to direct staff and the city attorney to settle this in the amount of $4,500 and authorize the staff to prepare the document for the Mayor to sign and authorize the Mayor to sign the document. The motion was seconded by Councilor Quandt. The motion passed by unanimous vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.

5. Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the City Council,

Councilor Quandt made the motion to adjourn and Councilor Ruede seconded. After unanimous vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays, the meeting adjourned at 2:09 PM.
