MINUTES SPECIAL SESSION – August 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm

 1.      Call to order       

The Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman, Lee Riechel at 2:04 pm .  

2.      Roll call  

Roll Call was taken by Planning Chairman Lee Riechel.  

Present: Planning Chairman Lee Riechel, Commissioner Paul Gargis, Commissioner Ken
Henderson, Commissioner Norman Martin and Commissioner Darlene Beckman.  

Absent: Vice-Chairman George Burke was absent & excused.  

Others Present: Road Commissioner Bill Harris, City Recorder Fred Hilden, Administrative Assistant Amanda Clinton and Marv Beckman.  

3.      Pledge of Allegiance  

All who were present stood for the Pledge of Allegiance.  

4.      Approval of the Agenda  

Commissioner Henderson made a motion to approve the Agenda as presented.
Commissioner Beckman seconded the motion. The motion passed by unanimous vote.  

5.      Consent Agenda  

Commissioner Beckman made a motion to approve the minutes of August 2, 2011 on the Consent Agenda as amended to note Marv Beckman present in the audience.
Commissioner Beckman seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 3 ayes, and 0 nays, and 1 abstain (Commissioner Henderson).  

6.      Announcements / Correspondence – None  

7.      Citizen Input – None  

8.      Public Hearing – None  

9.      Unfinished/Old Business –  

·        City Recorder Fred Hilden commented that all future meeting minutes of the code review process will include the Chapter and Section started and completed.

·        Continuation of Chapter 155.2 code revision review. The review began at the beginning of Chapter 155.2.2 and stopped at the end of Chapter 155.2.2.

12. Adjournment  

There being no further business to come before the Planning Commission, Commissioner Henderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Beckman seconded the motion. The motion passed by unanimous vote.  

Planning Chairman Lee Riechel adjourned the meeting of the Planning Commission at 5:24 pm .
